Baccarat Blitz is a simplified, faster, and commission-free variation of traditional baccarat where Kings, Queens, Jacks, and Tens all have a value of zero while all other cards have a value equal to the number of pips on the face of the card.
To begin, players must place at least one of the mandatory Player, Banker, or Tie wagers. Optional Double Tie and Double Tie Bonus wagers may also be made prior to any cards being dealt.
Once all wagers have been made, one card is dealt to both the Player and Banker hands. The hand with the highest point value wins and is paid 1-to-1.
When both the Player and Banker hands are of equal value, players who bet the Tie wager are paid 5-to-1 odds. Winning Tie outcomes that result in an Exact Match, which are cards of the same rank of the same suit, are paid 10-to-1 odds. In addition, when a Tie occurs, Player and Banker wagers remain in play and automatically enter into a second round to determine the final outcome of the hand.
In the second round, an additional card is dealt to both the Player and Banker hands. The hand whose second card has the highest point value wins and all wagers are resolved.
In the event that the Player and Banker hands are of equal value in the second round, both the Player and Banker wagers lose as the result of a Double Tie. However, players who bet the Double Tie Wager win and are paid 40-to-1 odds.
When a Double Tie occurs, Double Tie Bonus wagers win if both the first and second sets of cards dealt have either the same value, rank, color, suit, or various combinations of these factors. However, all other outcomes lose. Double Tie Bonus wager payouts are determined by the specified paytable and are paid odds at 50-to-1 and as high as 5000-to-1.
